Zima pod znakiem wrony (2026)
Warschau, 13 december 1981. De staat van beleg sluit het land af. Van de ene op de andere dag verandert een land in een gevangenis. Taxi's zijn vervangen door tanks. Burgers worden behandeld als criminelen. En de bezoekende Britse professor Joan Andrews zit in de val. Nadat ze getuige is geweest van de moord op een jonge studente door de geheime politie (de 'Kraaien'), wordt Joan zelf het doelwit.
