Contra a Maré (2023)
Vissers gaan elke dag de vervuilde zee in om hun gezinnen van levensonderhoud te voorzien, op zoek naar wat er overblijft van het zeeleven in de regio. We zijn in 'Contra a Maré' getuige van het gevaar in de relatie tussen kapitaal en natuur in de groeiende industrialisatie van de omgeving van Sepetiba Bay en hoe deze het hele ecosysteem beschadigde en daarmee de impact die dit had op de bestaande arbeidsactiviteit van de ambachtelijke visserij.
