The Skateboard Kid (1993)
Na de dood van zijn moeder verhuist Zach's naar het kleine stadje Millcreek, waar vader een baan krijgt bij een lokaal televisiestation. De buurt wordt geterroriseerd door een groep jongeren op skateboards. Zach heeft zelf ook een skateboard, maar daarmee kan hij moeilijk voor de dag komen. Bij gebrek aan geld besluit hij een oud skateboard op te knappen, dat ooit van een goochelaar is geweest. Tijdens een stormachtige nacht komt het skateboard tot leven. Het geeft hem adviezen en sarcastische opmerkingen.
