Student Darryl heeft maar één doel voor ogen: op eender welke manier zijn studie bekostigen. Voor de onstuitbare Darryl is geen baantje te zwaar, te belachelijk of te bizar. Hij zet alles op alles om zijn schuldeisers één stap voor te blijven zodat hij zijn dromen kan waarmaken. Maar Darryl heeft een plan. Om de eindjes aan elkaar te knopen doet hij mee aan een medisch experiment. Hij stelt zich kandidaat als proefkonijn voor een nieuw medicijn. Dit geneesmiddel brengt de gevoeligheid van de zintuigen tot ongekende hoogten. Aanvankelijk heeft het medicijn alleen maar voordelen, maar dan krijgt Darryl steeds meer en meer last van de neveneffecten.
