Paint Me a Road Out of Here (2024)
In 1971 maakte de onderschatte kunstenares Faith Ringgold een monumentaal schilderij voor de vrouwen die opgesloten zaten in de gevangenis van Rikers Island, genaamd 'For the Women's House'. Vijftig jaar later werkt kunstenares Mary Baxter, die op vijfentwintigjarige leeftijd in de gevangenis beviel, samen met een excentrieke groep activisten, politici, kunstenaars, gevangenisbewaarders en Faith Ringgold om het schilderij te bevrijden met als uiteindelijk doel de vrouwen te bevrijden.
