Black Dahlia (2006)
Een jonge beginnende agent en zijn team ontdekken in L.A. uiteengereten vrouwenlichamen, vergelijkbaar met de Black Dahlia cold case uit 1947. Een seriemoordenaar lijkt het brute bloedbad van Hollywood-ster Betty Short uit de jaren veertig te kopiëren. Uiteindelijk leidt zijn onderzoek hem naar een angstaanjagend hol van dood en marteling, allemaal onderdeel van een angstaanjagende fantasie die de moordenaar tot leven probeert te brengen.
