Abducted at an HBCU: A Black Girl Missing Movie (2024)
Shannon is een ambitieuze studente die moeite heeft om haar collegegeld te betalen en uiteindelijk stopt met het volgen van lessen. De enige persoon die de plotselinge verdwijning van Shannon opmerkt, is haar studieadviseur Ellen. Ellen"s zorgen worden weggewuifd door Shannon"s professoren, campusbestuur, studenten en zelfs haar eigen vriend. In plaats van antwoorden krijgt Ellen achteloze opmerkingen over hoe "meisjes zoals dat" uit achtergestelde gemeenschappen vaak de school verlaten. Vastbesloten om Shannon te vinden, ontdekt Ellen per ongeluk een bende mensenhandelaars die zich richt op studenten in nood zoals Shannon. Nu de tijd dringt, moet Ellen onvermoeibaar vechten om de steun te krijgen die ze nodig heeft om Shannon te redden en de mensenhandel op te rollen.
