Empire Records (1995)
Empire Records speelt zich af in een onafhankelijke platenzaak waar een hechte groep jonge medewerkers hun dagen doorbrengt tussen stapels cd’s, persoonlijke worstelingen en opbloeiende romances. Terwijl ieder van hen op zoek is naar zijn eigen identiteit en toekomst, komt hun wereld onder druk te staan wanneer het voortbestaan van de winkel wordt bedreigd. Wat volgt is een chaotische, energieke dag vol vriendschap, rebellie en liefde voor muziek, gedragen door de alternatieve sfeer van de jaren negentig.
