The Spy Who Came In from the Cold (1965)
Een Britse spion krijgt een opdracht waarvoor hij achter het IJzeren Gordijn moet komen. Het moet lijken alsof hij wil overlopen, waarvoor hij zich bezat en wordt opgesloten. Eenmaal geaccepteerd in de Oost-Duitse spionagekringen, ontdekt hij dat zijn missie slechts een afleidingsmanoeuvre was voor een totaal andere missie.
