The Meanest Men in the West (1978)
Bronson en Marvin schitteren als moorddadige halfbroers die zowel voor de wet als voor elkaar op de vlucht zijn. Een klimatologische confrontatie bewijst voor elk van hen hoe gemeen de ander kan zijn. 'The Meanest Men in the West' is eigenlijk een amalgaam van twee afleveringen van de populaire tv-serie uit de jaren 1960, 'The Virginian'. In één aflevering wordt de dochter van een rijke man ontvoerd door een vervelende revolverheld. Maar de misdaad is slechts een middel voor de schurk om het stoere titelpersonage in een bloeddorstig wraakplan te betrekken. In de tweede breekt een zwerver in op de Shiloh-ranch. Dan vertrouwt een losgeslagen meisje op de man om te helpen bij haar vlucht van huis.
