Turned Out Nice Again (1941)
George Pearson, een werknemer in een ondergoed fabriek, zit klem tussen zijn moderne vrouw en zijn bemoeizuchtige moeder. Nadat hij een speciaal garen heeft gekocht en zijn vrouw heeft laten promoten, krijgt hij ruzie met zijn baas, meneer Dawson, die Pearsons vrouw beledigt en weigert zijn excuses aan te bieden. Pearson neemt vervolgens ontslag. Nadat hij ontdekt dat het garen eigenlijk best veel waard is, probeert meneer Dawson het van Pearson te kopen, maar hij krijgt concurrentie.
