After the Thin Man (1936)
Na hun zaak in New York te hebben opgelost (zie The Thin Man) gaat het echtpaar Nick en Nora Charles terug naar San Francisco. Daar worden ze opnieuw geconfronteerd met een moordmysterie. Als de lijken zich beginnen op te stapelen, proberen Nick en Nora de puzzelstukjes in elkaar te passen en de zaak op te lossen.
