Le silence est d'or (1947)
Emile is een Franse filmproducent aan het begin van de eeuw. Een van zijn vrienden laat zijn dochter Lucette achter in zijn huis, als hij aan een rondreis door Frankrijk begint. Emile wordt verliefd op haar. De problemen beginnen wanneer zijn jongere vriend Jacques terugkomt van militaire dienst en nadat hij heeft geklaagd over zijn ongeluk met vrouwen, volgt hij het advies van Emile op bij het starten van affaires met vrouwen en ontmoet hij Lucette.
