Relative Strangers (2006)
Relative Strangers is een film in de sfeer van What About Bob en Meet the Parents. Het is een waanzinnige comedy over een succesvolle psychiater wiens wereld ineenstort als hij z'n biologische ouders ontmoet. Dokter Richard Clayton heeft het prima voor elkaar: twee geweldige ouders, een succesvolle carriere als psychiater en een boek over zelfbeheersing dat op de bestsellerslijsten staat. Alles in z'n leven verloopt uitstekend en hij gaat over een paar weken trouwen. Totdat z'n jaloerse broer Mitch hem op een avond de waarheid vertelt: hij is geadopteerd. Het blijkt dat dit waar is. Als Richard over z'n schrik heen is, huurt hij een privé-detective in om z'n biologische ouders op te sporen. De detective weet ze te vinden en Richard nodigt ze uit voor het weekend, zodat hij ze eindelijk kan zien...
