The Black Arrow (1988)
Het verhaal speelt zich af in het vijftiende-eeuwse Engeland tijdens de onrustige periode van de Wars of the Roses. De jonge held, Richard "Dick" Shelton, ontdekt dat de persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor de moord op zijn vader niemand minder is dan zijn voogd, Sir Daniel Brackley. Hij sluit zich aan bij de gelederen van de Black Spire-bandieten in Tunstall Forest om wraak te nemen en Jeanne Sedley te redden, de uitverkorene van zijn hart met wie Sir Daniel wil trouwen. Na vele avonturen zal hij worden geridderd door de man die Richard I van Engeland zal worden en zal hij de moordenaar van zijn vader een verdiende straf zien ondergaan, voordat hij met zijn geliefde trouwt.
