Girl in the News (1940)
Een oudere dame weet haar verpleegster een paar pillen te ontfutselen en sterft aan een overdosis. De verpleegster wordt berecht voor moord en vrijgesproken. Enige tijd later zorgt de verpleegkundige, onder een nieuwe naam en identiteit, voor een patiënt die eveneens aan een overdosis overlijdt. Als haar echte identiteit aan het licht komt, ontstaan er argwaan.
