The Grand (2007)
Jack Faro heeft maar één oplossing als hij het casino wil redden dat hij van zijn grootvader heeft gekregen: een belangrijk pokerkampioenschap winnen. De inzet, tien miljoen dollar, zal deze cocaïneverslaafde don Juan inderdaad in staat stellen te voorkomen dat het etablissement in handen valt van een ontwikkelaar die hoopt het te slopen om er een luxueus hotel te bouwen. Maar Jack is niet de enige die groots inzet op dit kampioenschap: broer en zus Larry en Lainie, eeuwige rivalen, mikken op hetzelfde, evenals de semi-autistische Harold, de wrede en hete Duitser en de voormalige titelverdediger, L.B.J.
