The Cake Eaters (2007)
De dood van de matriarch van de familie Kimbrough heeft gevolgen voor de drie mannelijke overlevenden van de clan. Weduwnaar Easy probeert weer contact te maken met zijn oude vlam, Marg. Oudste zoon en worstelende muzikant Guy verhuist terug naar de stad en voelt zich schuldig dat hij de begrafenis heeft gemist. Zijn broer, Beagle, die de verzorger van zijn moeder was, valt voor Margs kleindochter, Georgia, een chronisch ziek meisje dat vreest dat haar tijd kort wordt.
