The Jack Bull (1999)
Myrl Redding, een handelaar in paarden, raakt in conflict met landbouwer Henry Ballard nadat deze twee van zijn paarden en zijn indiaanse werknemer mishandelde. Wanneer Myrl Ballard wil vervolgen, wijst een corrupte rechter de aanklacht af. Maar de paardenhandelaar laat het hier niet bij en start een persoonlijke campagne tegen Ballard. De wraakactie zorgt echter voor een stroom van geweld en onrust in het dorp.
