The Mod Squad (1999)
De mod squad bestaat uit drie screw-ups, die door de politieonderschept werden aan het begin van hun criminele carriere. Het zijn de knappe Julie Barnes (ex-drugverslaafde), destoicijnse Lincoln 'Linc' Barnes (brandstichting) en de nonchalante loser Peter Cochrane (diefstal). Het drietal werd uit de gevangenis opgepikt door captain Adam Greer, die ze undercover inschakelt in het voor de politie onbereikbare nachtleven van Los Angeles. Voor hun laatste opdracht moeten ze infiltreren in een duistere club waar prostitutie en drugsweligtieren. Daar ontmoet Julie een oude liefde, waarvan ze echter niet weet dat die nog altijd in een drugzaak betrokken blijkt. Wanneer Grier - die zelf beschuldigd wordt van diefstal - om het leven komt, moet de mod squad alleen op pad om de waarheid te weten te komen.
