La notte e il momento (1995)
Een schrijver (Dafoe) wordt uitgenodigd in het huis van een edelvrouw (Olin) die dol is op vrijdenkers. Hij probeert haar te verleiden, maar zij staat erop dat hij haar vertelt over zijn liefdesdaden uit het verleden. Terwijl hij dit doet, neemt hij haar mee door zijn tijd in de gevangenis, waar hij onbewust opgesloten zat in de cel naast de hare.
