The Seven Year Hitch (2012)
Jennifer en Kevin zijn beste jeugdvrienden die al vele jaren platonisch samenleven als volwassenen. Wanneer Jennifer besluit met haar vreemdgaande, manipulatieve vriend Bryce te trouwen, moet Kevin de bruiloft stopzetten om haar te beschermen tegen het maken van, naar zijn mening, een verschrikkelijke fout. Met een beetje hulp van zijn broer en buurman ontdekt Kevin dat hij en Jennifer al wettelijk getrouwd zijn vanwege het gewoonterecht, nadat ze zeven jaar samen hebben gewoond, en als zodanig kan Jennifer niet met Bryce trouwen.
