L'homme au cerveau greffé (1972)
Professor Marcilly is een beroemde hersenspecialist die, na diepgaand en uitgebreid onderzoekswerk, nu in staat is een hersentransplantatie uit te voeren. Op een dag bevindt hij zich in de aanwezigheid van een jong slachtoffer van een auto-ongeluk, voor wie de enige hoop op overleving een hersentransplantatie zou zijn. Marcilly, die een hartaandoening heeft en ongeneeslijk ziek is, besluit de 'donor' te worden. De operatie is een succes. Maar wie is eigenlijk de patiënt die uit het ziekenhuis wordt ontslagen: een jonge kerel met de hersenen van een jonge man of een oude man in het lichaam van een jonge man?
