Aspirant-filmmaakster Sophie vertrok als kind uit Afrika naar Canada. Na haar afstuderen filmt ze de dagelijkse gang van zaken tijdens een vakantiebaantje op een kermis. Wanneer ze de camera op zichzelf richt, onthult ze pijnlijke geheimen uit het verleden.
