Velvet Goldmine (1998)
1971: de glamrock-ster Brian Slade is op het toppunt van zijn roem. Talloze jongens en meisjes imiteren zijn extravagante stijl. Maar Slade kan niet omgaan met deze status en beraamt zijn eigen moord. Wanneer zijn fans erachter komen dat Slade niet echt vermoord is, valt zijn ster van de hemel en wordt hij vlug vergeten. 1984: Arthur, een journalist, krijgt de opdracht het verhaal van Brian Slade nog eens op te halen.
