Hot Spell (1958)
Alma Duval, een huisvrouw van middelbare leeftijd, probeert te verbergen hoeveel ze lijdt onder de amoureuze uitstapjes van haar man, terwijl ze haar kinderen probeert te helpen hun problemen op te lossen en haar best doet om haar gezin bij elkaar te houden terwijl het langzaam uit elkaar valt. Ondertussen wordt dochter Virginia door haar vriend gedumpt omdat ze hem niet kan helpen met zijn carrière. Het verjaardagsfeestje van haar vreemdgaande echtgenoot nadert en daarna zullen vele grenzen worden overschreden.
