Jim (Bryce Johnson) en zijn vriendin Kelly (Alexie Gilmore) zijn in Willow Creek, Californië. Daar zijn ze uit op hetzelfde als de onderzoekers Patterson en Gimlin, die in 1967 de beroemdste opnames registreerden van het legendarische monster Bigfoot.
