My Sweet Pepper Land (2014)
Baran is een held uit de Koerdische onafhankelijkheidsoorlog, die politieagent is in de hoofdstad Erbil. In plaats van op zijn lauweren te rusten en te genieten van zijn welverdiende pensioen, aanvaardt hij een laatste opdracht. Hij wordt gestationeerd in een kleine vallei, waar de grenzen van Iran, Turkije en Irak samenkomen. Eenmaal gearriveerd in het wetteloze gebied, weigert hij onderwerping aan het plaatselijke stammenhoofd.
