The Baltimore Bullet (1980)
De vijftigjarige Nick Casey (James Coburn) is een behendige poolbiljarter. Hij vecht en zit achter de vrouwen aan als een jonge god van 25!! Samen met zijn jonge leerling, Billie Joe Robbins (Bruce Boxleitner), trekt hij door het land om de biljartcafés onveilig te maken. Dan blijkt Nick's eeuwenoude rivaal, The Deacon (Omar Sharif), de te kloppen tegenstander te zijn op het beruchte 'Hustler's Tournament'. Nick en Billie moeten nu als een gek het startgeld bij elkaar zien te biljarten om mee te kunnen doen aan het toernooi! Eenmaal in de finale tegen The Deacon wordt het weer een ouderwets spel van elkaar op alle mogelijke manieren de loef afsteken en de hele wereld kijkt mee"
