Born in East L.A. (1987)
De immigratiepolitie overvalt een speelgoedfabriek en neemt 115 illegale buitenlanders mee. Onder hen is echter ook een man met een Mexicaans uiterlijk die geboren is in oost-Los Angèles en alleen maar zijn neef op kwam halen. Maar omdat hij er Mexicaans uitziet en geen papieren bij zich heeft wordt hij met de illegalen uit het land gezet. Hij doet alle mogelijke moeite om weer terug te komen, maar omdat hij geen papieren heeft zal hij zich moeten wenden tot mensensmokkelaars en daarvoor moet hij eerst geld zien te verdienen.
