Laura (1944)
Rechercheur Mark McPherson onderzoekt de moord op de onweerstaanbare Laura Hunt. Wie zou deze jonge vrouw, op wie elke man verliefd leek te worden, willen vermoorden? McPherson raakt zelf ook steeds meer in de ban van Laura en wil zelfs het schilderij met haar, wat aan de muur hangt in haar appartement, kopen van de curator.
