The Door in the Floor (2004)
East Hampton, New York. Het verhaal belicht een zomer uit het leven van de beroemde kinderboekenschrijver Ted Cole en zijn mooie vrouw Marion. Hun ooit geweldige huwelijk is nu getekend door tragiek. Marion houdt zich gesloten en Ted heeft allerlei avontuurtjes wat hen ervan weerhoudt de problemen op te lossen. Tot Ted de jongere Eddie aanneemt als zijn persoonlijke assistent en Eddie al snel als een communicatiemiddel fungeert tussen Ted en zijn vrouw.
