Doctor Sleep (2002)
Dr. Michael Strother is een Amerikaanse slaaptherapeut gevestigd in Londen. Hij heeft een bijzondere gave: hij kan in de zielen van zijn patiënten kijken. Deze vaardigheid leidt hem naar gevaarlijk terrein wanneer hij Scotland Yard begint te steunen in een zaak waarbij een seriemoordenaar betrokken is. Politieagente Losey vraagt hem om de gedachten te lezen van een stom meisje dat ternauwernood aan de moordenaar is ontsnapt. Een duistere reis begint wanneer Dr. Strother zich onderdompelt in de vreemde, mysterieuze visioenen van zijn jonge patiënt.
