Outside Chance (1978)
Een vrouw werkzaam in de reclame belandt in een gevangenis in een klein stadje nadat ze tijdens een rit van Los Angeles naar New York is geterroriseerd door twee lifters die haar auto stelen en haar bewusteloos langs de weg achterlaten. Ze wordt een voortvluchtige nadat ze haar gevangenbewaarder heeft vermoord tijdens een poging tot verkrachting en uitgebroken is met een van de lifters die haar onschuld zou kunnen bewijzen.
