Een gezin van drie personen reist door de ruimte, wanneer ze een gestrand ruimteschip tegenkomen. Ze slagen erin één overlevende (Grieco) terug te trekken die in shock is. Wanneer de vader echter het schip gaat onderzoeken, ontdekt hij dat iedereen is vermoord. Plots laat de vreemdeling hem achter op het beschadigde ruimteschip en begint zijn vrouw en dochter te terroriseren, want het blijkt dat de vreemdeling in werkelijkheid een emotioneel onstabiele androïde is die zonder moraal is geprogrammeerd, waardoor hij op moorddadige wijze tekeer gaat.
