Malice (1993)
Andy(Bill Pullman) en Tracey (Nicole Kidman) leiden een harmonieus leven: een goede baan en een prachtig huis. Alleen kinderen ontbreken nog. Dan krijgt Tracey plotseling krampen in haar buik en moet worden geopereerd. Ze blijkt zwanger te zijn! Chirurg Jed Hill (Alec Baldwin), Andy's oude vriend, begaat een grove medische fout waardoor Tracey haar ongeboren kind verliest. Ondanks een enorme schadevergoeding van het ziekenhuis strandt haar huwelijk en Andy en Tracey gaan uit elkaar. Andy vertrouwd het echter niet en al snel komt hij achter de gruwelijke waarheid, dat hij het slachtoffer is van een wel heel bizarre samenzwering. Hij zoekt wraak en gerechtigheid, met verschrikkelijke gevolgen.
