Kiss the Blood Off My Hands (1948)
Bill Saunders, een voormalige krijgsgevangene die in Engeland woont en wiens ervaringen hem onstabiel en gewelddadig hebben gemaakt, raakt verwikkeld in een cafégevecht waarbij hij een man vermoordt en vervolgens vlucht. Hij verstopt zich met de hulp van een verpleegster, Jane Wharton, die zijn verhaal gelooft dat de moord een ongeluk was.
