Jim Ferguson krijgt een black-out op een feestje in New York, en bevindt zich plots midden in het strijdgewoel tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Jim's psycholoog ontdekt dat hij in het verleden een tweelingbroer heeft die hem kan oproepen telkens als hij hem nodig heeft. Tegen wil en dank moet Jim dus zijn broeder Biggles helpen om een superwapen te vernietigen waarmee de Duitsers eventueel de oorlog kunnen winnen.
