Dead & Buried (1981)
Er gebeuren vreemde dingen in het altijd zo rustige kustplaatsje Potter's Bluff. Een reeks van onsamenhangende moorden houdt de kleine gemeenschap in hun greep. Danny Gillis - de sheriff - staat machteloos. Nog verontrustender is de mysterieuze verdwijning en het weer net zo raadselachtig opduiken van een aantal van de overledenen. Naar mate Gilles onderzoek vordert komt hij ook meer en meer achter de schokkende waarheid die het stadje herbergt...
