Drowning Mona (2000)
De rust in dorpje Verplanck in New York wordt verstoord wanneer Mona Dearly met haar auto in de Hudson terechtkomt en verdrinkt. Eerst wordt gedacht aan een ongeval, maar de plaatselijke politiechef Wyatt komt er al vlug achter dat het om moord gaat. Het blijkt echter niet zo simpel om de moordenaar te vinden, want iedereen in het dorp had een grondige hekel aan het slachtoffer. Bijgevolg zijn er genoeg motieven en verdachten.
