Wanneer hotelevenementenplanner Rachel het uitmaakt met haar vriend John omdat hij haar bedroog, besluit ze online op zoek te gaan naar een nieuw vriendje. In de uitgestrekte cyberspace ontmoet ze een charmante, rijke man genaamd Craig, die op het eerste gezicht perfect lijkt.
