Dr. Kozak is een briljant bio-geneticus die ervoor heeft gezorgd dat Skye en haar man toch nog een zoontje, Chris, hebben kunnen krijgen. Helaas overlijdt Chris op jonge leeftijd. Dan ontdekt Skye bij toeval een jongetje dat een tweelingbroer van haar zoontje had kunnen zijn. Dr. Kozak noemt dit toeval, maar Skye ruikt onraad en stelt een onderzoek in. Als ze dicht bij de waarheid is, doet Dr. Kozak haar een voorstel: in ruil voor haar zwijgen, krijgt zij een kloon van haar overleden zoontje: een nieuwe Chris. Wat zal ze doen?
