Excess Baggage (1997)
Emily T. Hope wil alles doen om de aandacht van haar vader te trekken. Op een dag simuleert ze een ontvoering, vraagt ze losgeld en sluit ze zich op in de koffer van haar BMW, zodat de politie haar daar kan terugvinden. Autodief Vincent Roche gaat er echter met de wagen vandoor en ontdekt dat hij meer gestolen heeft dan gepland. Roche wil geen ontvoerder zijn en probeert van haar af te komen, maar Emily valt voor zijn roekeloze levensstijl en laat hem niet los, terwijl haar vader zijn maffiabroer achter hen aanstuurt. Emily besluit de touwtjes zelf in handen te nemen. Want zoals de zaken er nu voorstaan, wordt ze liever niet teruggevonden.
