Le meraviglie (2014)
Op het Toscaanse platteland worstelt een gezin van traditionele honingboeren om de eindjes aan elkaar te knopen. Het huishouden bestaat uit slechts vier dochters, aangevoerd door de oudste, Gelsomina, die alle verantwoordelijkheden op zich neemt. Wanneer een jongetje bij hen komt wonen voor revalidatie, wordt hun routine verstoord. Terwijl financiële problemen hun gezin bedreigen, ziet Gelsomina een kans in een reality-tv-wedstrijd waarin gezocht wordt naar 'Italiës meest traditionele gezin'. Bereid om hun afgezonderde leven op te geven voor het prijzengeld, botst ze met de starre opvattingen van haar vader in een poging om hun toekomst veilig te stellen.
