Nora Prentiss (1947)
De rustige, georganiseerde Dr. Talbot ontmoet nachtclubzangeres Nora Prentiss wanneer ze licht gewond raakt bij een ongeluk. Ondanks haar twijfels raken ze nauw betrokken en Talbot staat voor de keuze om Nora te verlaten of van zijn vrouw te scheiden. Wanneer een patiënt in zijn spreekkamer overlijdt, lijkt zich een derde optie aan te dienen.
