Humoresque (1947)
Helen Wright, een neurotisch 'society woman', valt op de eerzuchtige jonge violist Paul Boray, die zich van zijn muziek niet kan onthouden. Ze wordt hem de baas en wil van hem een groot succes maken, maar ze kan niet uitstaan dat zij nog steeds de tweede belangrijkste persoon ('tweede viool?') is in zijn leven.
