Call of the Wild (2009)
Tegen haar zin gaat het negenjarige stadsmeisje Ryan Hale op bezoek bij haar opa in Montana. Het is er koud, de mensen zijn er veel te vriendelijk en er is niet eens een winkelcentrum om in rond te hangen! Maar dan vindt Ryan een gewonde wilde hond. Ze ontfermt zich over het dier en noemt hem "Buck". Met behulp van een paar nieuwe vrienden en haar opa weet ze Buck er weer bovenop te helpen. En dan krijgt Ryan een idee: ze schrijft zich in om samen met Buck mee te doen aan de jaarlijkse sledehondenwedstrijd. Kunnen ze de wedstrijd winnen of verlangt Buck terug naar de wilde natuur?
