I See a Dark Stranger (1946)
De trotse Ierse Bridie Quilty reist naar Dublin terwijl de Tweede Wereldoorlog door Europa woedt. Tijdens haar reizen ontmoet ze J. Miller, die haar rekruteert als nazi-spion. Ze verkrijgt de nodige informatie die leidt tot de ontsnapping van een Duitse spion die belangrijke informatie heeft over de nieuwste offensieve plannen van de geallieerden. De komst van de Britse officier David Baynes en zijn romance met Bridie leiden echter tot onverwachte gevolgen.
