Payback (1997)
Kathryn runt een restaurant, maar op een avond belt ze de politie nadat ze een verdachte man in zijn auto ziet wachten. Kathryn ziet echter dat een van de drie politieagenten, Kaleen, de man met hun stokken aanvalt en schopt. Op advies van Jack, de interne onderzoeker van de politie, vertelt ze dit aan de rechtbank en wordt Kaleen geschorst en voor de rest van de carrière op zijn rang gehouden. Kathryn krijgt echter rare telefoontjes, haar zoon wordt gearresteerd wegens moord en de carrière van haar echtgenoot als leraar wordt bedreigd door controles op zijn strafblad. Dit komt allemaal omdat Kaleen uit is op wraak en hij van plan is de wet en zijn vrienden bij de politie daarvoor te gebruiken. Alleen Kathryn, haar familie en Jack staan hem in de weg.
