Dólares de arena (2015)
Elke middag hangt Noelí, een jonge Dominicaanse vrouw, rond op het strand van Las Terrenas. Met haar vriend Yeremi zoeken ze naar manieren om in hun levensonderhoud te voorzien, ten koste van een van de honderden toeristen daar. Noelí heeft echter ook een vaste klant, Anne, een veel oudere Franse vrouw, die net als veel andere Europeanen een idyllisch toevluchtsoord op het eiland heeft gevonden om haar laatste jaren door te brengen. Voor Noelí is de relatie er een van gemakzucht, maar de gevoelens worden intenser naarmate ze van plan zijn samen naar Parijs te vertrekken.
